Across Southeast Asia, wicha means knowledge — the kind that is earned, kept, and transmitted from master to student: protective, healing, potent. Its great masters were monks and lay sorcerers who saw no contradiction between deep devotion and practical power.
Guru yoga is the Vajrayana art of uniting your mind with the awakened mind of the masters. In this session we practice a guru yoga honoring the wicha masters' lineage of fierce knowledge held with discipline and used for protection — connecting to their blessing from within our own tradition, with the respect due to theirs.
