Suchandra, king of Shambhala, is the patron saint of practitioners with full calendars: he went to the Buddha and asked for a teaching he could practice without renouncing his throne, his family, or his responsibilities. What he received became one of the great tantric transmissions.
Guru yoga is the practice of uniting your mind with the awakened mind of a master. In this session we practice the guru yoga of Suchandra: a method for those of us who won't be moving to a cave anytime soon — connecting to the blessing of the practitioner-king who proved you don't have to.
Everyone is welcome; no prerequisites, no experience needed. Text provided.
