About the event
In our everyday experience, things seem to appear in a certain way—solid, independent, undeniably "there." Yet the profound wisdom tradition of Bonsar, we are inviteed to look deeper: how do phenomena truly arise in our minds, and how do they actually abide?
Join us for this rare and illuminating teaching on Valid Cognition (Tshad Ma) drawn from the treasured text of the great Bonsar master Sherab Gyaltsen. Together with an accomplished teacher, we will gently explore the subtle distinction between how objects appear to our ordinary perception and how they ultimately abide in the luminous openness of emptiness.
Far from abstract philosophy, this exploration touches the heart of practice:
Gently loosening the grip of habitual reification
Opening to the natural clarity and spaciousness of mind
Deepening insight into the illusory dream-like nature of all phenomena
